On New Year's Eve day we had beautiful weather. So, we hiked Stone Mountain with Mama Cook and Papa Doug. The girls did great and made it all the way to the top. It was a fun day. New Year's Eve night we went over to my parent's house. We had dinner together, played games, watched childhood videos of my mom and Aunt Betty, and just enjoyed being all together. Uncle Sid was released from the hospital today and was able to join us for the evening. It was such a blessing to have him with us and feeling much better. It was a great way to end 2010.
Regan and Riley made it to the top first.
Mommy and Reece reaching the top.
Mama Cook made up a fun game for the girls. She gave the girls bottle caps and they floated them in all the puddles and streams along the mountain. The girls had so much fun doing this.

So good to see Uncle Sid up and doing well.
Aunt Kim had a fun origami book that she shared with the girls. We are showing off our wonderful creations.
Jonathon and Aunt Kate cuddling on the sofa watching us.

The King and Queen
In Australia, they have a tradition where everyone gets "poppers" which looks like a toilet paper tube wrapped up in paper. Two people grab each end and pull and it makes a loud pop and a toy falls out along with a paper crown. I think they usually do this on Christmas but Aunt Kate saved them for New Year's Eve. We all got a popper and paper crowns. Here we are wearing our crowns. Aren't we cute!?Happy New Year!!!!
