Dogsitting Chaz...

On January 14th weekend, we kept a friend's dog for 4 nights.  Riley met this dog about a year ago and he has been her best bud ever since.  We try to go see him often which Riley calls "playdates with Chaz."  Our friends are moving to Africa this May and Chaz will be going with them.  We are very sad to see them all go.  We enjoyed dogsitting Chaz and almost got used to the idea of having a dog around but that thought faded away quickly. ;)

I know after all of you see these photos you are going to say we need a dog!  If you are thinking that, will you be willing to keep it everytime we go out of town?? :) We will agree once the kids learn to pick up after themselves, do their chores without being reminded and show enough responsibility that we know they will be the ones to take care of the dog.  Until then, stuffed dogs it is, and boy do we have A LOT of those!!!
