Regan Turns 11...

On April 1st, Regan turned 11.  I really wish that was a joke but it is not. :(  My little girl is all grown up!  We are so proud of the fine, young lady Regan is becoming.  Regan, it has been such a blessing watching you grow in your faith, in your confidence, in your knowledge, and in trying new things.  We love you Regan and it is such a blessing having you in our family!  Regan had a slumber party with 3 of her dear friends to celebrate her birthday.  They enjoyed a pizza dinner, playing Wii, pictionary, mint brownies and ice cream for dessert, popcorn and a movie ("A Little Princess" - based on the book), chocolate chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast and just being silly.  There was lots of laughter and fun.  Reece went over to a friend's house for a sleepover and Riley and Daddy were at camp so Regan and her friends had full reign of the house.
Regan opening her present from Maddie (friend from church).  Maddie got Regan a charm bracelet and a book from "American Girl Doll" about starting middle school.
Regan opening Hannah Doucet's card and present.
Hannah D. got Regan a hedgehog Webkinz (it is the Webkinz of the month) and Regan named her hedgehog, Hannah.  As if she does not have enough Hannahs in her life already. :)
Regan opening her present from Hannah Stepp.  She got a really cool water bottle that you can spray yourself with mist when you are hot and also drink from it.  It will be great for Regan to use at Pacers (the running club she is in).  She also got a book from Hannah S.
Trying to get a serious picture of Regan and this is what I get.  You will see this is the common theme of most of my pictures!!!  The theme of the weekend was "Serious, you want me to be serious??  I don't do serious!"
This is almost a serious picture.
Regan is very excited about her Mint Chocolate Brownies (I got this recipe off Pinterest - very yummy!)
In the morning, the girls dressed Regan up as "Miss Not Serious" and held an award show.
These are the signs Regan wore on her shirt.
Hannah S. and Maddie with Miss Not Serious.  Check out Regan and Hannah's shorts.  They have almost the same exact shorts so of course they both had to wear them to be twins.
Love this photo, is this really my quiet, shy Regan??
Seriously??

On Regan's actual birthday, we went to church, ate lunch at Subway and when Daddy and Riley got home from camp we went to Q-Shack for dinner and Tutti Fruitti Yogurt for dessert.  Daddy was very happy Regan chose Q-Shack for dinner!
Regan opening her card from Mama Cook and Papa Doug. (Regan says, "Thank you for the money and pictures!")
Regan opening her present and card from Grandma and Grandpa C.
Regan has been wanting a pet snake so Grandma and Grandpa got her a pamphlet that is all about snakes you find in GA, SC, and NC.  As you can see by Regan's face, she LOVES it!
Regan trying to pick out the perfect snake for her.  She is ignoring the fact that her mom does NOT want a snake in the house!!!
I can't believe this is my same girl that used to be terrified of most animals and now she wants a snake!!!
We love you Regan!!!
