Regan's Cross Country Season...

Regan had a great 1st season of Middle School Cross Country.  She thoroughly enjoyed it and did very well.  Regan was the #2 runner for her team the whole season.  She was very consistent each week and was usually smiling during the races.  Each course varied but they mainly raced 1.8 miles (3K) and I believe Regan's fastest time for the season was 16:04 for a 3K.
Regan smiling while running at Emerson Waldorf School Meet.
This girl, Claire, ("the giant") was always right near Regan in each race.  I told Regan just to stick with Claire because they always seemed to run the same pace.  Regan did just that but unfortunately Claire's long legs always had the advantage at the end of the race.
Regan and Claire battling it out after a huge hill.
Regan finishing strong at the Emerson Waldorf Meet.
Regan doing well at the Triangle Day School meet.  On the first lap, Regan was ahead of Claire ("the giant").
 Running strong...
Regan kicking it in to the finish.
A great meet at Triangle Day School and now time to go do homework.  At least she is still smiling!
The Trinity girls getting ready for their first home meet at Trinity.
Trinity's first home meet was a well attended meet.  There were about 50 girls in the race and Regan placed 14th overall and 2nd for her team.
Regan looking strong at the one mile mark.

Regan had a very close finish against this Voyager School runner.  The Voyager runner edged her out by just a little.
Regan gave her all and finished hard in this race!  Way to go Regan, what a fabulous season you had!
