Trinity's Grandparent's Day 2012...

On Friday, May 4th, Trinity School had Grandparent's Day.  Trinity had an assembly full of music, singing, dancing, and recitations.  Regan played her flute in the band and also led her class in a rhythm dance.  She did not tell us she was going to be up front and center during their dance, it was a neat surprise.  It really made her daddy proud since he would never want to do what she did, and he also knows how hard it is to get up in front of that many people and lead something like that.  Her daddy was grinning ear to ear.  Riley's class recited a poem and Riley was also in a dance.  It was a nice assembly and the girls enjoyed performing.  We were glad Grandma and Grandpa Crissman could come up to visit for the weekend.  We were sad Mama Cook and Papa Doug could not join us too, but we know they were with us in spirit!  Thanks Mom and Dad for making the long trip up to see us, it was a wonderful weekend with the two of you!  Here are the highlights from our weekend...

Regan and Riley had early release after Grandparent's Day, so we headed over to Reece's school to eat lunch with her.

Saturday morning we took Grandma Strawberry picking.

After Strawberry picking, we headed to Reece and Riley's soccer games. 

Riley played a very aggressive game and scored two goals for her team.

We took my parents to the new, two story Chick-fil-A in our area.

Here is a video of my dad playing his Harmonica.  He taught himself when he was a kid and plays by ear.  I remember listening to him play while I was a young child and now my girls enjoy listening to him as well.
