Reading Raccoon and Bald Eagle Camp Out...

Tony (aka - Bald Eagle) and Regan (aka - Reading Raccoon) are involved in Indian Princesses through the YMCA and needed to do a camping experience this summer in order to earn a feather for their vest. Originally, the camping experience was going to be with their tribe but both camping trips got cancelled because of heavy rain. So, on July 3rd, Reading Raccoon and Bald Eagle camped out in our backyard. It was a gorgeous night (low humidity and in the 60's) so they had a great time. They both had their reading lights and read for over an hour and in the morning instead of making a campfire they snuck out to Waffle House at 5:30 am. Then, when they got back from breakfast Bald Eagle went back to sleep until 9 am and Reading Raccoon read some more. They had such a good time that Regan has been begging to camp out again. And Riley and Reece want to too.
