What's New With the Girls

Regan is 7 yrs. old now, in the second grade and is keeping busy these days. She is taking private swim lessons and is making great progress. She is learning backstroke and is doing better w/ freestyle. She is getting more confident in the water each week. She is also taking piano lessons. She had her second recital last weekend and did really well. Regan is also enjoying Brownies, Y Guides with her daddy, and Church choir. In her spare time, she LOVES to read. Her new favorite books are the "American Girl Doll books." She typically reads a chapter book in a day or two. She has been sick the last four days and has LOVED being laid up in bed reading books. She has completed 5 books already. I never knew a child that has Pneumonia could be so content with being sick!

Riley just turned 5 in December and is enjoying preschool. Her passion this year is tumbling. We put her in a gymnastics class at a local gym and she is LOVING it. She loves to tumble and I find her flipping off our sofa, climbing/swinging in trees in the backyard, and flipping on the bar on our swingset. She is definitely a natural at it. For her birthday, we had a tumble bus come to our house. It was an RV that was converted into a gym. The kids has a blast. Riley also enjoys sports, swimming, working puzzles, crafts and helping around the house. Riley has lost her first two teeth in December and the permanent ones are coming in and she has 2 of her 6 yr. molars already coming in.

Reece is 2 and is full of life. She is quite the entertainer. She keeps us laughing. She loves to dress up in ballerina and princess outfits and priss around the house. She loves to sing and to perform. She is finally potty trained and very proud of herself. She tells people she is a big girl and when they ask her how old she is she says 4. She will start preschool next year and she is very excited about that.
