A Day at the Park...
On Monday, April 5 we went to the park with Aunt Abby, Lizzie and Joshua. The kids had fun playing in spite of the heat. It was probably 90 degrees that day. Riley and Lizzie enjoyed the monkey bars.
Easter Dinner with Family...
On Easter Sunday we had dinner over at Joe and Abby's house. We had a wonderful breakfast for dinner (Eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade biscuits and Abby's killer cinnamon rolls). Yes, very healthy for sure!!! Then, the girls went outside for an Easter Egg Hunt. Aunt Abby had also filled up some water balloons for the kids but it ended up a game for the adults. Needless to say, it was war! In the end, we were all soaked and boy did we laugh and have fun! It was such a great evening and a nice way to let out some stress. :) Thanks Abby and Joe for a great time!! We love y'all!
hunting for eggs...

Reece is showing us that she found all her eggs.
Trying to get a photo of all the girls after their hunt.
Lizzie was not liking the water balloons. This is what she looked like when we first started throwing them.
Let the fun begin....
Tony is aiming for me but I have the camera!!!
Our New Church Home...
Our family is part of a new church plant in our town, Grace Hill Church. We had our first worship service in the new location on Easter Sunday. We are very excited about what the Lord has in store for us.
Here is our 3's-4's Sunday School classroom before being painted and before we put up the partition. The 2's class meets on the other side of this room (hence the reason we put up a partition).
This is the Pre-K through 1st grade and 2nd - 5th grade classrooms.
The praise team warming up before service.
Riley and Drew coloring together before church.
This is my 3's - 4's class eating snack.
We attempted to get an Easter photo of our class - not very successful but will be quite a memory when they get older.
Telling the children about the Easter Story. You can tell I have quite a few squirmers!
We rented a pavillion at a local park for our Easter picnic after church. When we arrived at the park the gate was locked. So, we had to wait for the cops to come and open the gate. In the meantime, everyone parked in a vacant lot next door and the men played football while we waited.
Beth made a beautiful Easter cake.

Easter 2010
This Easter was very special but also very busy. We are part of a new church plant in our town and we had our first service in our new location on Easter Sunday. Easter morning was busy trying to get three girls ready for church, getting all my Children's Ministry stuff and Sunday School stuff together and getting to church very early to set up. Needless to say, we were not in the mood for Easter photos. :) We got a few of the girls but did not get a family pose this year. But, we did have a very good Easter and a great church picnic afterwards.
Reece got a Beanie Baby Elephant in her Easter Basket.
Riley got a dog...

Regan Turns 9....
On April 1, Regan turned 9 years old. She is getting so grown up!!! Regan is such a joy to our family and is such a good daughter/sister. Regan has been enjoying her own room this year, still loves to read, loves cats and horses, is enjoying school and being in class with her friend, Hannah S. She has also learned to ride a bike without training wheels, is still playing piano and recorder, enjoying Y Princesses with Daddy, Girl Scouts and is loving our new church home.
This year Regan wanted to celebrate by having a slumber party with her two best friends, Hannah D. and Hannah S. and we went bike riding at a park in Burlington. Mommy forgot her camera during the bike ride so I do not have any photos of them riding. Tony led them all over the place and they did really well. It was extremely hot (90 degrees) but they still had fun inspite of the heat. We came back to the house for pizza, cake, dying Easter Eggs and a movie. The girls stayed up giggling and doing Madlibs until about 11:45 pm. She had a fun weekend.
We love you Regan and are very proud of you!

Regan wanted this book at the Trinity Bookfair. She was excited to get it.
And now guess where she went....to read (imagine that!) Just give Regan a book and you won't have to worry about getting her any other presents because you lose her attention to the book.
Regan's birthday breakfast...cupcakes.
Blowing out the candle
Regan chose to eat at Red Robin for her birthday dinner.
Regan enjoying her free ice cream sundae.
Regan shows off the card from her sisters. Reece picked the card out because she knows Regan likes cats.
More books!!!

Having pizza with her friends Hannah D and Hannah S.
Regan requested I make her a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake - her favorite!
Lots of silly girls and giggles....
All the girls pretending to take a bite out of the cake.
Regan opening her present from Hannah D.
Hannah D. got Regan a journal, skip it rope, "Swiss Family Robinson" book, "Black Beauty book" and a "Sleepover Madlibs."
