Regan Turns 9....

On April 1, Regan turned 9 years old. She is getting so grown up!!! Regan is such a joy to our family and is such a good daughter/sister. Regan has been enjoying her own room this year, still loves to read, loves cats and horses, is enjoying school and being in class with her friend, Hannah S. She has also learned to ride a bike without training wheels, is still playing piano and recorder, enjoying Y Princesses with Daddy, Girl Scouts and is loving our new church home.

This year Regan wanted to celebrate by having a slumber party with her two best friends, Hannah D. and Hannah S. and we went bike riding at a park in Burlington. Mommy forgot her camera during the bike ride so I do not have any photos of them riding. Tony led them all over the place and they did really well. It was extremely hot (90 degrees) but they still had fun inspite of the heat. We came back to the house for pizza, cake, dying Easter Eggs and a movie. The girls stayed up giggling and doing Madlibs until about 11:45 pm. She had a fun weekend.

We love you Regan and are very proud of you!

Regan wanted this book at the Trinity Bookfair. She was excited to get it.

And now guess where she went....to read (imagine that!) Just give Regan a book and you won't have to worry about getting her any other presents because you lose her attention to the book.

Regan's birthday breakfast...cupcakes.

Blowing out the candle

Regan chose to eat at Red Robin for her birthday dinner.

Regan enjoying her free ice cream sundae.

Regan shows off the card from her sisters. Reece picked the card out because she knows Regan likes cats.
More books!!!

Having pizza with her friends Hannah D and Hannah S.

Regan requested I make her a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake - her favorite!

Lots of silly girls and giggles....

All the girls pretending to take a bite out of the cake.

Hannah D. got Regan a journal, skip it rope, "Swiss Family Robinson" book, "Black Beauty book" and a "Sleepover Madlibs."

Regan is just a little excited about her new Pet Shop toy. It is a winter theme with a sled, campfire, smores, etc. Regan and her sisters love to play Pet Shop together.

Dying Easter Eggs....

I had to get at least one serious picture of these girls.

And then of course they wanted a silly photo too... acting like bunnies.

Happy Birthday Regan! I remember when she was a baby (which was the last time I saw her!). She and Will both love books :)
