We headed down to Georgia after school got out on Tuesday, Nov. 20th. We always hit a bunch of holiday traffic on the way down and arrive pretty late at night. But, it is worth the long drive because we get four full days with family. We spent two days with each family and we had a wonderful time! Wednesday, Nov. 21st we spent the entire day with Mama Cook and Papa Doug. The weather was absolutely gorgeous that day so we went to a nearby park and played soccer, then headed to the Varsity for lunch, headed to another park for playtime, Volleyball and a stroll and then went back to Mama Cook and Papa Doug's for dinner. It was a great day!
The family playing soccer on this beautiful day. It was so neat to see Papa Doug running all over with the Grandkids only 6 mos after his transplant!!

We went to another park that had really cool climbing rocks. We all had fun playing on these.
Riley had learned how to play Volleyball in P.E. this past quarter so she was really eager to show off her moves. We enjoyed playing on this sand court. Made me feel like I was at the beach.

We always love a trip to the Varsity while in Atlanta! We actually went 2 times this trip - one time with Mama Cook and Papa Doug and one time with my family.
On Thursday, Nov. 22 we spent the whole day with my family. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and played lots of games. Jonathon, our nephew, was loving on everyone. We have lots to be thankful for!!!
Sweet cousins!
On Friday, Nov. 23rd we spent the day with Mama Cook, Papa Doug, Uncle Dave, GG & GP Walker. The girls enjoyed making ornaments with Mama Cook, playing a game with GG, and playing with our fun Uncle Dave.

Tony and GP were checking out some of GP's treasures.
GG came up with a fun game to play with the girls. She would ask them questions such as "What is your favorite foods, animals, places to visit, etc... and they would have to find the answers (pictures) in magazines. This helped her learn more about their likes and interests.
Sweet family photo!
Uncle Dave always comes up with fun things for the girls to do. This time he surprised them with helium inflated, remote control "Nemos." The girls had a blast playing with these fish.
