Our Thanksgiving in Georgia...

We spent four days in Georgia during Thanksgiving break.  We stayed at Mama Cook and Papa Doug's house and then split our time between Tony's family and my family during the days.  We had a great time but of course it is never long enough.  On Wednesday and Thursday we spent time with Tony's family.  The girls had fun cooking with Mama Cook, we went to a park one afternoon, ate at a yummy BBQ place for lunch, played lots of games, ran/walked a 5K on Thanksgiving morning at a local park, and enjoyed time with GG, GP and Uncle Dave.  Thanks Mama Cook and Papa Doug for your great hospitality.

We enjoyed a pretty afternoon at Sweetwater Park.  The girls brought Mama Cook's wagon and pulled each other along the walking trails.

Pretty Pilgrim...

On November 22nd, Riley's 2nd grade participated in the school's Thanksgiving assembly.  They could dress up as Pilgrims or Indians so Riley chose to be a Pilgrim.  Tony snapped this photo of Riley in the car.
Riley played the xylophone in the assembly and did a great job.  After the assembly Riley's class had a Thanksgiving party.

Regan's Thanksgiving Feast...

On November 21st Regan's 5th grade class enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving feast.  They had turkey, chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn casserole, baked apples, rolls, stuffing and turkey cupcakes.  They were some stuffed turkeys after that meal!!!!
Here are the cupcakes Regan and I made for her feast.

Reece's Thanksgiving Play...

On November 16th Reece's Kindergarten class performed a Thanksgiving Play for all the parents and other classes at school.  They did a wonderful job retelling the Thanksgiving story.  They also did the Pledge of Allegiance and sang some songs including "My Country Tis of Thee" and "This Land Is Your Land."
