Disney Trip - Day Three...

On Tuesday, March 9 we went to Magic Kingdom. As soon as we arrived it started drizzling which made us a little worried but the rain stopped within 30 minutes. It remained cloudy most of the day. By late afternoon, the sun broke through and we had a nice evening. The crowd was not bad and we did not have to wait long for any rides. The longest line we waited in was to see the Princesses (this was about a 30 min. wait). Some of the highlights were "It's a small world" ride, Dumbo, Carousel, Tea Cups - making mommy completely motion sick, Tom Sawyer Island, Storytime with Belle, meeting some of the princesses, the parade and the fireworks show. The least favorite thing of the day was the "Barnstormer" roller coaster. We thought it would be a nice, smooth kiddie coaster but it was very fast and had some big drops. Reece rode with me and she kept saying, "this is not fun at all." When all the girls got off they all agreed it was not fun and they did not want to do anymore roller coasters. So, that confirmed we were not going to go on Thunder Mountain. We ended the evening with the firework show. It was a very long day but the girls did great. We did not get home until almost 10:30 pm so the girls went straight to bed. The "Opening the Park" show
The girls in front of Cinderella's Castle (or as Reece called it, "Cinderella's Kingdom").

Riding Dumbo - This was Reece's favorite so we rode this several times.

Cinderella Carousel - this was another favorite and never had lines so we did this many times too.

We went to a storytime with Belle and the girls got to meet her and pose for a photo.

Tom Sawyer Island - the girls loved the island and spent quite a while playing and exploring.
Regan being silly - acting like she is going overboard.

Here are some shots of the parade....

This is the girl's touring Minnie's Cottage in Toon Town. The refrigerator really was cold.

The girls met Cinderella. Reece was very excited because this is her favorite princess.

The castle at night was so pretty.

The firework show was amazing.
